The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of the currency of the list. Note II: Candidates who are appointed in the post should serve for 4(four) years during the first 10(Ten) of years of their services(including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with defence, if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory military service.

  • 1. MD/DNB(Emergency Medicine). In their absence MD/DNB(General Medicine)/MS/DNB(General Surgery) / DNB(Respiratory Medicine), MD/DNB (Anaesthesia) /MS / DNB(Orthopaedics)with 2 years training in Emergency Medicine. 2. Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/ Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post graduation course or after obtaining post graduate degree in the subject. 3. One year Senior Residency after successful completion of PG Course in a Government Medical college. Note: For the candidates possessing DNB Qualification from MCI recognized medical institutions, three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical institutions either during the DNB course or after possessing DNB qualification. In addition the DNB qualified candidates should have undergone one year Senior Residency after completion of PG course in the concerned subject in a Government Medical College. Note (a) (b) The Post Graduate study period for medical subjects will be considered as teaching experience for appointments as Assistant Professor provided the candidates have undergone Residency Programme during the Post Graduate Course period and in the case of candidates who have passed the Post Graduate Course without undergoing residency programme a certificate shall be produced by the candidate from the principal of the college to the effect that the candidate has got teaching/clinical work experience during the Post Graduate Course period. DNB qualification must be acquire from a Medical college which is recognized by any of the University in Kerala. (c) Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. (d) In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered on SSLC book, the candidates shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. (e) KS & SSR part -II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable
