  • 1 (One ) The above vacancy is now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list.

  • 18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions)
  • I. 1) A pass in B. Sc Degree with any one of the following subjects as main and other two subjects as subsidiary. a) Physics b) Chemistry c) Mathematics. 2) A pass in the Diploma in Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering awarded by All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Bombay after successful completion of 3 year course. OR An equivalent Diploma in Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering awarded by any one of the training Centers in India under note (2) below. II. In the absence of the candidates with above qualification the following qualification will be considered:- 1) Pre degree with any three of the following subjects as optional :- a) Physics b) Chemistry c) Mathematics d) Biology. 2) A Diploma in Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering awarded by All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Bombay after successful completion of 3 year course. OR An equivalent Diploma awarded by any one of the training Centers in India under note (2) below. Note:- 1) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 2) Name of approved training centres in India which awarded equivalent Diploma in Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering. (iii) Government Institute of Rehabilitation of Medicine, K.K.Nagar, Chennai-600083 (iv) National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, Olatpur.P.O, Bairol District, Cuttack (Odisha) (v) All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Haji Ali, Khalye Marg, Mahalakshmi, Mumbai. (vi) School of Prosthetic and Orthotics, K.K. Nagar, Chennai-600083
